the temp gage in my suburban only rising one notch when driving. When the engine is turned off it moves to the correct temp--if I restart it goes back to original location. I have changed sensor which didn't make a difference. Also, when starting the engine the temp gage needle pegs to the high side of the gage until it starts then returns to the cold location. All the other gages in the car work properly. How can I pinpoint the problem without changing out everything??
