Should I file a complaint? This Chinese waiter was being mean to us?

My niece and I went out last night to a Chinese restaurant. After being seated, we called over the waiter and nicely asked him if there is anything "vegan" on the menu. He pointed to one of the soups and I asked if it contained any animal broth. He wasn't sure so he had to check in with the chef. It turned out that it contained beef stock. And so he brought another waiter and we both looked through the menu together. He suggested a noodle dish and so that's what we ordered. When our dish came to us, the first thing we noticed was that the noodles had a yellowish color to them. I called the second waiter again and asked him if the noodles contained eggs. He said: "Yes, you don't eat meat AND eggs?" To which I replied: "Yes, and add to that cow's milk" He then replied: "You are making my job difficult. I cannot go and ask any of the chefs because they are busy." At that point, my neice and I had had enough. We got up, and I told him "You know, it might be a good thing that we are leaving without an MSG headache. You just wait and I'll have you fired." We left.
